And this is why you won’t get a police officer to respond to genuine calls from members of the public, when a farcical display like this is put on for whatever reason. There’s more than one way to get into Downing Street by car and much more discreetly. This makes a total mockery of proportion policing at the taxpayers expense. I’d like to know who authorised this and is it likely to be done again? I know for a fact that he could have gone in to Downing Street totally unseen, so not sure why they put on this comical display. Doesn’t one officer reply “ It’s the Prime Minister” when someone shouts out asking who it is? Kind of gives the game away of the so called anonymity of the so called protected person, whoever it may have been, or likely to be. Embarrassing to watch to say the least. 😎
