About 50 lbs... I just bout one last night. I went red-top cuz I have a 96 Yoda Taco... it's a really simple truck with nothing that has a constant draw so no need for a yellow top, and I like the excessive starting power cuz I drive in the snow in the winter... some batteries don't have as much power in the cold... cranking gets slow... with a red top Optma, and a small 2.4L 4-banger to turn over, my truck will start in a blizzard, burried in 4 ft of snow like as if it had a DieHard under optimal conditions... no hesitation, just starts right up reliably. The last optma lasted 14 years and ran like a champ till well after it's life expectancy. I have been considdering a dash cam so I might switch up to a yellow top or even the light-grey-bottomed blue-top (different than the dark-slate-grey-bottomed blue-top) just to get the cold start performance wile still getting deep cycle marine grade constant draw power... it's the Benford 2000 approach... you know, go ham... way over kill. I'd build a "light wood framed" house with 4 x 4 on 12in center if I could afford it. I use a $150 lock on a $50 chain set up for motorcycles to lock up my $100 bicycle... I'm that guy... so of course I got a red top on a compact pickup from an era when 'compact truck' truly meant compact... yo f*ck CAFE for ruining the compact truck btw. Anyways enough stoned rambling... now to watch the vid and find out by what small margin I'm off...
