About done with book! Chapter about 2nd debate was so good! Great memories! Great book. Seeing/hearing Yang on Rogan changed my whole outlook and gave me clarity that not all is lost!

As a member of the gang I just remember the rumor mill of how Yang would crush it if we got him to Miami because he was on the debate team in high school. Then we were all like what happened? Then Detroit was good. We were pumped.

I have to say that Andrew Yang makes me hopeful for the future, thank you for this podcast and chance to get to hear more from him . Just one small critique . This show is one of my go to shows when I'm on my treadmill getting some exercise, so I have it playing pretty loud . My girlfriend who is in the other room commented and asked why does Andrew keep cursing ? I thought he was smart ? So I guess what I'm saying is . You don't need to fucking swear so much Zach . Lots a love from Canada . Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the devastating and tragic shooting in Uvalde Texas . peace out!

Men, I know you two are waiting for January 2023 to announce a new Forward Party candidate on a podcast tour, but you can't wait that long. when I found you guys in 2018, I was feeling hopeless about the government being unresponsive to the people, and both campaigns really helped balance me out. that level of despair was really dangerous for me and the people around me. And right now with the context of this horrific shooting and congress taking off without a vote on anything even symbolic, I know theres a whole mess of 18-29 year old men who need to hear your message right now. they need leadership, so they don't put their energy into something self destructive. Everybody sees how a republican can't make any kind of anti gun stance in a primary season because it would be political suicide, but not everybody knows that ranked choice voting and open primaries can depolarize the electoral process and most states have a ballot initiative process to make that happen for them. Please, Yang. Call every famous person with an audience you know, go forth on podcast tour, and talk about state-by-state political process reform and a Yang 2024 presidential run. There is a moment of intense apathy from the leadership class right now, and a lot of relatively sane people are getting dragged down into the place where they are dangerous. You can talk them down from the ledge, they really need a genuine person from outside the political class to put their hope in, and a set of policies that aren't sectarian nonsense.

It breaks my heart that the thing Iowa voters could not see is Yang besting Trump in the general when there were good numbers showing Yang having the most competitive stance against Trump out all the Dems in the field and #YangGang were out there with Andrew’s team preaching those stats to everyone they could find but because the MSM refused to pick up on the story no one outside the campaign felt it was real enough to take a chance on 😞 I was right there with you Zach and Andrew believing there was a real shot at riding that wave after the LA rally & Yangapalooza 🧢 until the MSM made it so obvious they were not going to let populism catch fire in favor of the DNC 🤬

52:03 I'd respectfully like to disagree Andrew. It is true that Biden did beat Donald Trump, but I would contest vehemently that he was "the best" candidate to beat him. Yang and Bernie would have done much better imo.

I believe Andrew already thinks he could be the next President. That’s not what he actually wishes for himself, instead he just wants to create the next political party. Running for national office is likely just a necessary chore to really create a growing movement for a new center. Inspire others to not only join and vote, but to also run for offices within the same realignment: reform and recreate our institutions in the face of rapid internet & technological changes in our society.

56:40 You are correct good sir. The campaign should have gutted through Nevada and South Carolina especially when Dr. Jermaine Johnson Was going all out.
The likelyhood that I was going to max out on contribution was very high.
Our ravage reaction and response to the Pandemic was also boiling over requiring a pragmatic, humanity driven solutions was necessary.
Missed opportunity it was. Some will never forget nor forgive, but most will move on in our own little way to work for Humanity First, Humanity Forward and Humanity always!!!
