Some of these elements including what to put in your portfolio, how to brand yourself, should you include a biography page, what your contact page should look like, and how a blog might be the most important part of your site.

Great information!
I’m a commercial photographer in the UK and I use WIX to build my website. So easy and customisable. Much better than Square Space and easier to use than WordPress.
If you go for the Premium site you get marketing tools like email marketing, CRM, and even the ability to send quotes, invoices etc. 👍🏻

For Lee, I live in Houston and have had 2 cerec crowns done. My dentist does it in house and it takes about 3 hours super easy and the machine is cool to watch work. Only issue is that later you may have to get a slight adjustment (a little grinding in case it is hitting a tooth wrong when you bite).

Great series guys. I’m actually in the middle of totally redesigning my website. It’s a simple photography website - and not to generate sales or business. Having said that, is there a number of shots for the portfolio you shouldn’t exceed? Totally agree it’s bad to have multiple “types” of shots but my question is more on “how many”. I believe it’s a huge mistake to have too many - so what’s a safe number? I shoot portraits so I’m good on type but not so good on quantity. 5-10? 10-15? What’s your recommendation? -Rusty

Absolutely keep it simple. Math is my downfall, so I never took a physics class. Accordingly, the only thing I know about string theory is how to tie my shoes so they don't come undone-usually. So, websites and complicated navigating gets me frustrated and lost quickly because it isn't intuitive to me. If a site isn't easy to navigate I go someplace else.

I miss Flash. It was super easy to make websites with Flash. You could just draw everything and not bother learning code :-)

Having a website is useless if you are not found on the internet. You need to do Search Engine Optimization on your website otherwise it's a waste of money to have one.
