This video demonstrates how to blend a smooth color gradient using acrylic paints on canvas. First, a layer of titanium white acrylic paint is laid down with a wet blender brush. Next, light blue permanent and phthalocyanine blue are applied to equal halves of the canvas. The final step is continuing to blend and smooth the acrylic paints with dry wash brushes until they create a color gradient.

Thank you very much for all your blending videos! Sometimes you use just water, sometimes retarder/slow dri or flow aid, what do you think is the best or easiest? And do you have any tips for blending on paper, not canvas?
