America's new F1 team could be the platform for Checo Perez's REVENGE ARC against Red Bull in 2026? Did the Mexican take a leaf out of Carlos Sainz's Williams book?

Could Sergio "Checo" Perez finally get the Formula 1 redemption he's been seeking? Mario Andretti has dropped major hints that Perez might soon headline Cadillac’s highly anticipated 2026 F1 entry. After facing intense drama at Red Bull, Perez’s sabbatical may actually boost his appeal, positioning him as an ideal candidate for Cadillac's ambitious Formula 1 project. Andretti has openly praised Perez's resilience and valuable insight gained from navigating Red Bull’s turbulent team dynamics, indicating that the Mexican driver's experience could be pivotal for Cadillac as they aim to make a powerful debut in Formula 1.

Cadillac isn't just interested in Perez for his driving skillhis immense popularity, especially in the crucial Mexican market, makes him a strategic asset both on and off the track. Could we potentially see an all-Mexican dream team pairing Perez with IndyCar star Pato O’Ward or Colton Herta? Perez himself emphasizes he's looking for a team that truly values and believes in him, a sentiment aligning perfectly with Cadillac’s philosophy. This video examines how Checo’s complicated yet compelling journey could lead to an epic comeback, reshaping his legacy in Formula 1.

Bro is sitting out and having millions in his bank account. He smiling and laughing at the RedBull situation, he’s loving life right now

In light of Checo's $15m+ severance payment it'd be more accurate to say it was him who took Red Bull to the cleaners. 😂

THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING SINCE LATE LAST SEASON!!!

The fact Checo had a grip on the second RedBull seat for YEARS instead of months like other drivers (not throwing shade, just saying how it is) has to give him A LOT of credit!

Law, as a Mexican myself, thank you* 😅 for your objective, neutral view on everything. I appreciate your opinion so much 💪

The other thing to consider is that Checo does have a considerably large amount of fans in the US. If you take a look at the Austin GP he is practically a home driver. That is why he was backed up by Ford in Red Bull days, they wanted him to consolidate that Latinamerican fan base living in the US, which is really big. After Ford consolidated that partnership with RB Checo was in A LOT of events both in Mexico and US with Ford and those events were a huge success in terms of engagement. That is something I expect Cadillac is taking into account, Ford already proved that there is a fan base there to appeal to.

Thank you Law for not reporting on f1 like some tmz outlet, the negativity in the media space is tiring. Your positivity is refreshing.

With Yuki not having a contract for '26... How funny would it be if Cadillac's lineup was Perez and Tsunoda?

Checo is for sure gonna be the one getting one of Cadillac’s seat. Would love for Pato to join the team too, full on Mexican team would make us Mexicans happy(I’m Mexican-American myself). Unless politics comes into play, especially a certain someone

Checo is a great driver. I’ll never forget him brining that Force India to victory, opening up that Red Bull seat for him. That second seat is cursed, and he did the best out of everyone that has had it in the past. He deserves a seat on the grid.

Checo with the last laugh. He was the first to tell everyone it was the car and not him. Now everyone sees its the car....

This would be a very ironic twist if the fall/decline of Lawson ends up seeing the resurgence of Checo and the emergence of Yuki as a front of the grid driver.

I do hope Lawson can get a resurgence like Gasly & Albon though.

I always love your level headed and realistic takes, when I discuss Checo with my friends they always just say he’s washed but for Liam it’s the car, make it make sense fr

2 points:
It’s not just the fan base of Checo in Mexico. You have to consider the huge US Hispanic fan base as well.

Also Checo + Pato… I can’t start to describe what that could mean in terms of free, organic marketing and promotion… it could build the whole team’s mystique…
