I said this over on Reel Rejects but I’m calling it now that just based off this trailer alone I think this movie could be the new Lord of the Rings and sweep the Oscars. A movie like Killers or the Flower Moon could compete with it but this just looks insane. That cinematography…🤯

I think the first movie was just the appetizer. Part 2 is going to be the main course and one of the best cinematic experiences for Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Action movie lovers.

Look how beautiful these movies are.... and their budget is smaller than a lot of bigger movies. Studios got to learn to reign their budgets in. If the first Dune can be made for 165 million, nothing should ever cost more.

DESERT POWER BABY!!! I have wanted to see a big budget film treatment of this story for years and even this outdoes my wildest expectations! Im so glad they are beefing up Chanis (Zendayas) role. Both her & the Princess played by Florence Pugh play pivotal roles moving forward. The book is practically narrated through the Princess’s diary logs. I was never going to brave a theater for the first film because of COVID but if they re-release it Im so there for both films!
