I have a serious question for those of you who keep saying certain sounds of gospel music will reach the youth. I have been hearing this and I think it's a mind numbing statement to keep people from critically thinking and to allow the gospel artists to straddle the fence a bit...

1.) How do you all know this for sure?
2.) Do you all really believe these gospel artists make these songs with the youth in mind or their pockets?
3.) Where do you draw the line? I thought Christians were supposed to be 'from the world but not of the world?' Where's the distinction?
4.) How long are people going to use the 'it's gonna brang the kidzz to Christ' excuse to keep supporting mediocrity just because 'gawd' is in the song?

Its not about the melody or the music it's about the lyrics of the song. The melody is used to catch your attention. The lyrics is what counts. I love the song. Stop beating her up because she's trying to reach the world. If we keep the message only inside of the church then how are we suppose to win souls? That's the mission of Christians right?
