Thomas Newman's score for this Pixar gem has lots of great moments, and one of the more entertaining ones is this throwback to the type of music Burt Bacharach was famous for in the 60s. It fits perfectly in this hilarious date montage, as WALL-E tries to bring EVE back to life.

Directed by Andrew Stanton, with original score by the amazing Thomas Newman.

That 2600 is a real trooper. Keeping in mind that this movie takes place at the beginning of the 29th century, the Atari 2600 released in 1977. *It would be over 800 years old at this point.*

I watched this movie over 10 years ago and I rewatched it yesterday to see if I remember anything and I really loved this movie and the only thing that I remembered was that Wall-E used to say "Eve" most of the times. Beautiful movie very nostalgic ❤️❤️😊

I was intrigued when I found out that the composer was going to initially use a Burt Bacharach song but created his own homage to him instead with his own composition but still actually modeled it after what Burt put out in the late 60s. Does anyone know which of his songs are actually similar to this?
