Column Chromatography (Animation)

Column chromatography is carried out in a column.
The bottom of the column is, first filled with cotton or glass wool to hinder solid particles from escaping the column.
The column is being prepared in two distinct ways:
1. Dry Method
2. Wet Method
In both dry and wet methods, bubbles appear which should be entirely vanished before the sample enters the column.
The column is, now, filled up with the stationary phase. Like Silica, Alumina, calcium carbonate. Watch the video for full details.
