Ha! I've actually met Katya and she's a delightful person. But yeah, the cicadas are so prevalent here in Kansas that anything done outdoors is automatically deafening.

Okay. I started looking because I literally just had a fucking cicada chase me! It's been trying to get in my house do I flicked it off my screen door a few times. I try to take out my trash and this fucking cicada does his chirp chirp at me and started chasing me. I kicked it away and it kept coming. What the hell??!?!?

Only reason I’m watching is because I just got a attacked by one not even 20 mins ago 😂😂😂😂 That thing was hissing at me and I was 🤛🏽 punching & swinging .. slide to get away & hurt my finger 🤕. It was kinda funny tho 🤭😅

They're females attracted to the sound of the motor! If they turned the engine off they would go away ^^
