Mrs. Pumphrey was spectacular in this episode. I do not watch TV at all, I am too busy writing a novle currently - but I do watch this show every week. This was the most realistic to life show in the series. This is what people are really like when living their lives. I am currently writing a novel, and the inspiration of this "old country town" is so genuine and interesting when writing. My novel is by the ocean, but the great idea of a central square where people meet for marketing and celebrating events is GREAT! Most American TV series are 15-20 episodes a year. I may be selfish - but I know the producers could create more shows about animals and working on the farm. I graduated from Vet school, and I could tell you some incredible stories. BRAVO Masterpiece PBS !
