El Estipario is proof that endless practice is the key. We all watch him think only HE can pull that shit off. Bc he makes it look effortless. What we don’t see is the constant practice and constant failures he endures to make what he does look so easy and natural. Remember people, there’s nothing natural about drumming or contorting your hands to master the guitar, bass, banjo, etc. We have to work hard to be good. This some of us have to work a little less hard but almost nobody picks up and instrument and masters it. Don’t get discouraged. Get your ass in there and PRACTICE all the things you suck at. Make the exercises you hate become the things you can do in your sleep.

El Estepario is an amazing drummer & a great example for young musicians. He worked his butt off to get where he is and is still pushing just as hard as ever. Its impossible to not root for the guy.
