Do any of you know that you could just hold the brake pedal and apply bit of pressure to the gas just enough to build boost a but not make the tires spin itll sit under or right at 2k rpm and this achieves the same goal without destroying your transmission

Manual cars don't come with transbrake on the cobb accesport

So transbreak. locks your transmission in 1st-2nd gear and heats up the transmission which shortens lifespan and could lead to broken parts.
Will doing this with the track apps (stock feature) do the same thing with inline lock?(as far as heat up the transmission and make a higher fail rate for parts) I know they aren’t the same, but seem similar. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
