Ark: 
Ark: Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival game set in an open world environment with a dynamic day-night cycle and played either from a third-person or first-person perspective. To survive, players must establish a base, with a fire and weapons; additional activities, such as taming and feeding dinosaurs, require more resources. 
The game is played from either a third-person or first-person perspective and its open world is navigated on foot or by riding a prehistoric animal. Players can use firearms and improvised weapons to defend against hostile humans and creatures, with the ability to build bases as defense on the ground and on some creatures. The game has both single-player and multiplayer options. Multiplayer allows the option to form tribes of members in a server. The max number of tribe mates varies from each server. In this mode all tamed dinosaurs and building structures are usually shared between the members. There is a PVE mode where players cannot fight each other.

Thaaank you so very much, figuring out the taming system was driving me insane.
There'd been a single dodo hanging around my first shelter and no matter what I did he just kept hanging about, wandering, making his dodo noises. I wanted to try knocking him out but was worried he might go the way of my other attempted pet (the little pickpocketing dinos. I chased it down and beat it unconscious, then waited for it to wake up to see if that was how you tame them. It woke up, stole a ball of poop, and I one punch k.o'd the poor thing. Permanently.)
The Dodo's name is Dave. He sleeps in the shelter with me. I'll be finding him a girlfriend very soon.

Here for the ark stuff lol I have a dodo now just got it but I'm trying to learn what's text... like I need hair or wool etc... to make my next set of gear fur stuff pretty cool game I will say I'm killing time though until sept6th then I'll be on starfield

I bred a flock of dodos, i level them simply to be good at running away and taking a few hits so i can bait aggro dinos away from me, i like using them to distract its kinda funny and has gotten me to safety

10, 000 Dodo's V.S 1 Wyvern would be the fight of a century. (the Dodo's would beat the wyvern by making 10, 000 pigeon-like noises all in sync to knock it out and deafen it, then peck the wyvern. THE END)

Dodos, just reminds me of ice age lol. Hey how long does basic kibble last in a preserving bin? I like to stock pile stuff, but i'd hate to make it, and have it go bad before i tame something. Oh same question for dodo egg
