I think its stupid if they make a 4, its not hard to do what PlayStation and Xbox and just make a Next-Gen version of the game. I hate the argument ever since Splatoon 2 where the next game is just the last .5 (ppl saying Splatoon 2 is Splatoon 1.5 and 3 being 2.5) but I'd argue for now that 4 would be exactly that. It's so annoying having to grind for a bunch of stuff just for a new game to come out.

I bought splatoon 3 the first month it released, played maybe about 5 hours of the story mode and a little online and proceeded to sell the game out of boredom. Such a shame because i enjoyed splatoon 2 quite a bit in 2018 for like a year, but now this game just feels boring to me. I hope they reboot the series and makes the gameplay faster

Present - keep the series how it was in splatoon 2

My headcanon is that if past wins the next installmemt will be a prequel surrounded around the great turf war.

Okay, so going by the established formula:
Past = prequel, maybe not the Great Turf War, becouse that would change the tone of splatoon to a more serious, darker one. I think it would take place some time after it, so maybe the story of establishing the SplatLegue(?), the road to the very first Splat Fest.
Present = were still in the same town but in a different district again, because let's not forget Inkopolis, Inkopolis Square and the Splatlands are 3 districts of the same city. So everything stays the same it's just a new district with the previous three available via metro and season passes.
Future = basically new town, new districts with little to no connection to the previous one.

I feel like past will have us find old feudal japan relics that will be tied to the lore and will probably delve deeper into the world before the inklings.
Present might focus more into the urban style 1 and 2 had and the different music bands the game has, and will probably use them to make interesting musical evolutions due to bands disbanding and experimenting by themselves. While lore wise it can sound boring, it could make for some awesome slice of life type of story without the tension of some past or future catastrophe looming over us.
Future seems to want to focus more on the unnerving perfect geometries with clean environments like the white spaces in Nier Automata. An odd, almost virtual looking world, most likely devoid of life. This might expand the concept of the side order DLC, although most likely not gameplay wise.

When splatoon 3 ends I will still play it until splatoon 4 and for the final splastfest I'm either chooseing present or future but I'll see and who will win we will all have so much fun during it and let's see who will win and about splatoon 4 and other stuff

I've never been interested or played Splatoon games before sadly, but gladly i'm kinda interested about of Splatoon 2 and 3 on Nintendo Switch still even those games are dying, but I should not to buy those maybe Splatoon 3 because it's not dying yet, but this GRAND FINAL Splatfest of Splatoon 3 is there still time to buy and play Splatoon 3 or should I wait for Splatoon 4 what I believe and hope will be BIGGER and diffrent than other Splatoons because even there's always a new Splatoon game almost nothing will change, but Splatoon 3 was a BIG Change than Splatoon 1 and 2 so Splatoon 4 will be something BIGGER and AMAZING for Nintendo Switch 2: Happy last Splatfest splatoon fans this is your time! 🎆🎉🥳

They should make the great turf war a dlc in splatoon 4 and how you enter the dlc is by talking to captain cuddlefish(if he's even still alive💀). I also think present and future are the best options to pick because for present they would probably give us a new location, weapons, customization, and characters but the game wouldn't be as futuristic(plus the game time takes place as real time in the real world(us now). For the future they can have future future futuristic content but the future of the splatoon world looks grim tho because of the salamonoids(constant big runs). I don't know how the past option would work on splatoon 4, the future game.
