Beauty and the Beast costume design project with BA Performance Design and Practice

Central Saint Martins BA Performance Design and Practice students were asked by the Walt Disney company create their own interpretative vision of Beauty and the Beast told through a costume design that celebrates storytelling.
Each student looked at the key themes of the film and designed a costume that embodied an element of the story that was important to them. The costumes were showcased at a promotional event organised in collaboration with Disney, and used in promotion of the film.
