In this video you will learn about how we can read image files from device using react native and ImagePicker.

BTW if you guys don't know then this is the video series where were creating an authentication server using node js, mongo db and express. And our plan was to create an app using React Native.

In the previous videos we use cloudinary to upload our user profile image and also we saw how we can login our users to our backend server because to upload profile image first user needs to be authenticated.

Now we have everything in the place, so in this video we will create a component which will read user image from the device and then in the next video we will send this or in a simple word we will see how we can upload this image to our node js backend api.

Here is the link for the complete series.

This is really helpful for my final year project. Initially, I didn't want to include any image uploading function for my final year project because I didn't have the knowledge but after watching this video, I've changed my mind.

How can I register with the official API of my choice? I'm throwing the incoming uri to state (setImage(result.uri) but I was getting 400 error while saving.
