I don't know why everyone is saying that the trailer was deceiving. I had never seen the trailer. I never read any of the books either. But I just yesterday watched the movie on Disney+, and it was so-so. Now I just watched the trailer and it's what I expected the trailer to be. There were a couple of transformations which did NOT occur in the movie, but everything else was accurate.

Ps I have read them they are one of my favourite series of all time and I had decoded the language in the book but when I was like 11 so I’ll have to read them again I was so inspired by Artemis and his attitude in the books and they don’t have nearly a similar vibe I am glad they kept some of the main characters but the plot is different and his father died at the start in the first book
