College Transition Connection is a program that gives young adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to expand their education by attending college. The organization works with various universities around South Carolina to create and help fund these programs.

Once on campus, these students are partnered with mentors that help in all aspects of their college life. But, as Bailey explains, these traditional students are also learning a great deal.

South Carolina universities that are participating in this program include: Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Clemson, South Carolina, and Winthrop.
