I LOVE my 6048... It has 3 pumps and I'm using two. The third one will be for the barn I'll be building soon. It heats my house, hot water and a 12x40 greenhouse (it's uninsulated so IT SUCKS the wood). It continually saves my propane bill. They topped it off in late spring and late fall and right now I have a $900 credit on my account... it's been as high as $1300+.
It's a lot of work and this year I hurt my back so I fell way behind on getting the wood split and stacked.

My Central Boiler is 2004 model classic. Still heating the House. Can't complain.

Boy that holds a lot of wood. Looks like a nice set up. I've seen other guys that have those systems. Thanks for sharing. I'm in central Iowa, got down to -11 last night. I'm ready for warmer weather.

My neighbor has an E Series and he said for the first year ... it drove him NUTS!! In the middle of the night a sensor would go off and SHUT the boiler DOWN!! He said it took him a good year to figure out what all the sensors did and what to do when it happened! THAT CONVINCED ME... TO KEEP IT SIMPLE and go with the Classic!!

nice set up i have a wood master for 20 years went thru 3 pumps, 3 draft fan motors and 4 diverter valves. i heat hot water with mine so i run it 365 days a year. your set up is much better. i would love to have one of the new ones you can put a log in the top with a tractor but they are crazy high priced. you make a good sawmill trailer too i have a wood land 130 max mounted on cement. take care, be safe and well.

Recommended to have a “sraight shot” for 6-8” going into the pumps
Kind of like some motors that have the propeller on the front to have less turbulent water

What pumps are you using? Your house appears pretty high and far. I have a 6048 classic.

New Sub here. Thanks for your opinions on your boiler. We are watching all we can before we make our decision.
