Thank you for creating this video and this channel! Single player turn-based RPG's are still, after 35+ years of gaming, my favorite game genre. Lately it seems like turn-based RPGs from the big franchises are disappearing. With the "big ones" like Final Fantasy becoming spectacle fighters and not even RPG's anymore, I'm glad the Indy devs are picking up the slack!

For me, *"Suikoden I&II HD Remaster", * *"The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak"* and *"Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes"* that are my most anticipated turn-based JRPGs in 2024.
Additionally, I really REALLY hope that Bandai Namco announces the next *Digimon Story* game in the next "Digimon Con 2024" because I REALLY need a new Digimon game after Cyber Sleuth.

I had the privilege of being a closed alpha tester for Bloomtown and let me tell you, the attention to detail that this game has is amazing, and there is so much stuff that we can do on the alpha (if we can even call it that, since it's very complete for a short demo). I hope it becames a huge success like sea of stars, it needs more marketing, that's all.

I haven't heard anymore about Suikoden remaster. Originally I thought it was supposed to be released sometime this year? I was really hyped for it.

Unicorn Overlord seems pretty promising. However i can't really put it in the same pile as FFT/Ogre Battle/Triangle Strategy. That would be due to the lack of a nice 3d battle field, its just flat and kinda boring. Same with Wandering Sword, great looking game with a flat boring battlefield. I like to move around and have the battlefield affect the combat as much as the characters do. It needs elevation and obstacles and for whatever reason a lot of developers dont seem to think this is important.

I'll just keep waiting for the FFT remaster i guess lol. Love the channel, much love.

Bloomtown seems so crazy in that almost slice of life farming sim look, just casually mixed with capturing demons under the town. It's like Stardew Valley banged with Yokai or something if NakeyJakey was making the video a couple years back.

I enjoy the gameplay loop of the Persona games, but I'm very bored of the modern Japan setting. Metaphor Refantazio is for sure the AAA game I'm most looking forward to next year, even more so than FF7. Dark pain was a new addition to my Steam wishlist, so ty for bringing that to my attention.
