Earth2.io | What is This!? | Early Questions Answered

Earth 2 is a 1:1 scale model of Earth. This model is going to be used as a platform for the upcoming virtual reality game the team are developing, presumably also called Earth 2. Or it may be used as a platform for other games coming out in the future.

That's the basic idea for the project but as an investment what are my thoughts? Well my first impression is, it's going to be a very risky investment. The idea is certainly very interesting and it definitely has a place in the future in some form. But, this team is extremely early in development and there will be a long wait till Earth 2 is actually released. When you consider how unpredictable and uncontrollable the success of a game can be. Along with how many competitors are going to be eyeing up Earth 2 and this idea wanting a piece of the pie. You can quickly see why this investment is a bit of a gamble.
