getting to announce that I voice Batman at SDCC

Sorry for the random vid haha. I just thought I'd share this because it was a cool moment for me to get to announce playing one of my all time favorite characters for a small DC Project :) These lines were some of my 1st words EVER as Batman, so I promise it’ll sound better the more we go along!

We got a cool cast on DC Heroes United! Hope to share more Batman scenes with you (Bane 👀) It was an honor to be on stage at SDCC 😭 Thank you so much to DC for letting me have this honor. I literally never thought I'd ever get to play my favorite Super Hero Detective 🦇

Never in a million years did I think I’d EVER get to say that 🤯 Hearing MY VOICE come out of him is insane 😭 I took some HEAVY inspiration from my hero, Kevin Conroy! I hope you’ll be able to hear that + my own take come thru in my performance 🙏

Edit: To me, Kevin Conroy will ALWAYS be my Batman. I can never assume his mantle, but I can dedicate myself to honoring him to the best of my abilities.

I’m happy multiple actors can take on these iconic roles at the SAME TIME in different DC projects. I love Roger Craig Smith, he’s a great friend & I am excited to hear Hamish Linklater in the new animated show! I am only Batman for this specific smaller-scale project. But I think it’s gonna be cool!

I know my take isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but that’s okay! I’m not trying to compete with anyone, I’m just thrilled to get to play Batman 😊
