You still have clips and highlights on twitch though; I'm not understanding. You can even live stream pre-recorded content, then save the VOD as a highlight on Twitch. Now they have content to watch while you're away for a week.

Unfortunately chat really sucks on Youtube, especially if you‘re on the phone - no autofill if you try to @someone in your chat message. And don‘t get me started on the lack of custom emoji. Of course these are all things that YT could implement someday. But for now from a user‘s perspective: Youtube live? - No thank you.

I absolutely agree. I don’t like Twitch as a company either, but even if I thought they were a good company, it’s the nature of the platform where you have to be live all the time that makes it a no for me. I switched to YouTube from Twitch in September 2021 and everyone thought I was crazy.

Okay, I'm a huge advocate for streaming on YouTube, but who said twitch streamers don't have edited content on youtube? It's not like people are on twitch all day everyday right? 😅
