PM Modi meets CEO’s of Google, Amazon and Boeing during US visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi separately met Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Amazon CEO Andrew Jassy, and Boeing CEO David Calhoun in Washington DC on Saturday

PM Modi and Alphabet Inc. and Google CEO Sundar Pichai discussed measures like Artificial Intelligence, Fintech and promoting research and development. The Google CEO shared with the Prime Minister about investing 10 billion dollars in India's digitization fund. He also announced the opening of Google's global fintech operation centre in GIFT City, Gujarat

The Prime Minister held discussions with Amazon CEO Andrew Jassy while focusing on topics such as E-commerce, digitization efforts and the logistics sector. Jassy said, his company is one of the biggest investors in India and they have already invested 11 billion dollars and with an intention to invest another 15 billion dollars bringing the total to 26 billion dollars
