After 43 years of playing, with some of those session work, but more of them touring, I regret the abuse I put my body (head/neck/back) through as a drummer.At one stage I was at the point of needing to wear a neck collar like Alex Van Halen did during one of their tours. So to all up & coming drummers, keep this in mind as you go through life playing so you don't overdo it for too many of your playing years.
