they should add some basic skins on top of the light cones to make it more worth while, even if the basic skins are similar to the ones in honkai impact 3rd that are mostly color changes for characters, give it something unique to each patch

If you were going to spend you are better off getting the battlepass and supply pass over buying shards straight up the resources you get saves you so much trailblaze power and it doesnt break the bank.. unless you are playing strictly f2p..

I honestly recommend buying the battlepass IF YOU CAN. The value it provides is so good.

The boxes give purple trace materials. I picked the arrows for Seele and got 16 total iirc.

The free light cone isn't worth it, but all the materials you get make a big difference.

The battle pass gives you resources at fraction of the cost and time it would have taken you to grind and wait for. It is worth it in my opinion.

I was suffering with ascension mats grind, then i have decided yesterday to buy the battle pass. It is so much easier. Welkin + battlepass is an ok spending, it is like paying 15e for wow or ff14 sub monthly

It's 100% worth it, especially if you're still in the early game which is what most ppl are at now.... The BP gives resources roughly around 10k+ worth of stamina (TL 50+)... it doubles/triples the value If you're still TL 40 or below... IMO the best way to enjoy this game is to buy the BP + Monthly for the first 2-3 patches... That will cost you around $35-45 which is a fair price imo... You should be able to build characters easier after that so you can stop buying the BP/monthly and be completely f2p...

I’m going to be the voice of unreason on this one and argue that it’s totally worth the price if you have more money than time. You get a bunch of resources which you could theoretically get by just grinding the NPC’s on the map at trailblazer level 50 or whatever day after day, like experience points and trace materials and credits or whatever. You also get a few more pulls than you get on the free pass. As somebody who is taking the game fairly casual and would prefer not to get resource blocked it’s worth it to me. If you have tons of time to grind it probably isn’t worth it.

Unless you're going completely and totally F2P (which, I get it if you are), then the BP is totally worth it. Like bruh, just skip one McDonald's meal you were gonna get this month and you can save several dozens of hours of progress. It's ironic that Mtashed says don't buy it because there's not a lot to do in this game (I guess we reached a point where 60+ hours of content is nothing), but the one thing, the ONE THING that he's complaining he wants to do in this game but it won't let him is EXACTLY the thing that the BP provides, which is more progression. And by a significant amount.

basically just gives you enough mats to raise one extra character to 60-70ish, all the books, lc exp, and credits you need plus some trace mats: 16 purples and a handful of blues. also the decent bp lightcones.

lol idk if he’s being sarcastic but you get a lot of materials to level up your character that normally takes ages to farm but once you hit TL 60 it becomes easier because they drop more frequently

I dont know why everyone says to not buy it. I dont think it's that bad actually. Useful resources and it's pretty straigh tforward.

My biggest annoyance is the fact they've locked Tingyun's signature LC behind it

Just credits, char exp, lc exp translates to thousands of traiblazer power.
At max lvl (TL 50+) You get around 1, 8-1, 9 purple LC material per 10 energy (based on small trail of 10x). And around 2.5 purple char exp material per 10 energy. And 24 000 credits per 10 energy.

BP gives around 200 of each purple exp material and 1.2 mil credits = 1000 energy for LC exp, 800 energy for char exp, 1000 energy for credits AND 32 blue AND 24 PURPLE trace / weapon ascension materials (purple is 3x blue so it is 104 blue materials and 10 energy at TL50 gives about 1.5-2 blue around so next 500-600 or more energy.

BP is worth around 3400 traiblazer power in farm materials (counterd for TL 50+, if You are 30 or 40 TL it it worth even more) = 14+ full days of materials farming + some Fuel, 680 Stellar Jades, Premium Passes and decent light cone (can count 4* LC as 10 Passes so next 1600 jades).
