What is Molecular Breast Imaging​?

Most women know the importance of a yearly mammogram after the age of 40 to screen for breast cancer. But for young women and women with dense breast tissue, it can be challenging for doctors to see problems on a mammogram. Now doctors at ProMedica's Breast Care Center are using a screening tool called MBI, Molecular Breast Imaging. As ProMedica Health Connect Correspondent Chrys Peterson shows us, MBI is another great tool for doctors to fight breast cancer by catching it before it spreads.
