Please help me understand the math! If you sell a put on FB with a $158 strike for 6 weeks and you receive a premium of $1.28 per contract that comes out to 6.9% annualized. Am I right? 1.28/158=0.8% times 52 weeks divided by 6 weeks. How is it that you can make 30% annual return if you only earn 6.9% on you cash secured put??? Please explain if you can. Thank you 🙏

Hello, Thank you for this free content. I have been trying to teach myself day/swing trading by watching videos on technical analysis like many others. I'm in the crypto market because I definitely support crypto and blockchain technology but, as u know, it's very volatile. I'm sure u can imagine the amount of money I've been losing, especially when I was recently introduced to leverage trading up to 100x! Anyways, I have 3 questions; 1) How much would a typical sale of put options cost me to initiate? 2) Can I sell put options in any other market (Forex etc) or is it only done in stocks? 3) Is it of great significance which brokerage we choose? Thanks in advance and I really appreciate your help man!
