Karcher window vac

The Karcher window vacuum is great at removing condensation from windows, shower screens or mirrors. This window vacuum has a 3.6v Lithium ion battery that can power the machine for about 20 minutes from a full charge (2 hour charge time).

Just bought one, the lower end model. Usually I'm unimpressed by gadgets, but I am blown away. Effortless cleaning of my manky windows and I can see myself in the bathroom mirror again.

Had mine for two years for removing condensation from house windows and from a conservatory. Helps prevent black mould. Does a great job.

As other posters say, it is just a case of using the rubber plug to drain it. It can carry a fair amount of water before it starts to splutter, and then it is usually if you tip it horizontally - obviously it is best operated held upright.

I was very dubious when this first came out but was sold after using it so much so I now have two! With kids around even though it's not designed for spills it does a great job picking up from wet tiles. Also with a slight mod with some tuning can suck water out of cisterns! Thanks for reviewing!

Because it is nearly Christmas I thought I’d do a review of the Karcher window vac as this would make a great present for the partner ;-)

Seen quite a few videos on channels all within a week.

I've been meaning to get one of these for a couple of weeks now as I do get a few condensation issues due to very large windows. I think I've been spending about 65% of my wages on paper towels lately .... LOL. Many thanks though Chez - you've definitely made up my mind to go get one this week. Cheers!

I've had one since they came out and it's brilliant. I keep in the ensuite for doing the shower door and tiles after use. But as demonstrated its great for removing condensation and for use on vehicles after washing, panels as well as glass. Particularly medium + sized vehicles. The standard head is a bit restrictive on small cars (or at least on my wife's old Ka).

Thanks as always for the great videos. I noted your camera on windscreen of your vehicle. Just a tip ! If you end up having a bump & even if it's not your fault, the cops can say your driving was impaired as your view was obstructed by your camera ! It needs to be fitted behind the mirror if possible or as that's a panorama wide camera it can be fitted in the top passenger side corner at a slight angle. It needs to be above the tip of the window wipers. Apologies for the lecture but it'll keep you right . 😉

thanks for the video. I got my wet and dry vacuum from wickes sorted. the universal filter helped.

No need to strip the thing apart to empty the water thats collected, just pull out the rubber bung/stopper on the area above the water collection tank and let it drain out down the sink or the road side .
Taking it apart is for regular cleaning (perhaps monthly) not day to day usage.
