The way I learn how to kill specific tanks is to use the platoon itself and suffer the pain of unlocking each tank in the platoon while dying using each tank.

For the kv1
The driver optic can be penetrated by 20 mm AA

Or flank It on the Left

Kv2's HE shell can destroy ANY tank
KV2 HE INSTANT-KILL GUIDE:
Aim closest to the top of their turret roof (use reticle)
If fighting another KV2, aim for the 2 round prongs at the top, 100% CHANCE for a kill
Otherwise, aim to chassis/body roof, very ineffective however.
HE shells do not depend on KINETIC ENERGY PENETRATION, they depend on SHRAPNEL and EXPLOSIVE POWER
Which is why you should aim for weakest spots of tanks
KV2 HE SHELLS can oneshot any AA
For an HE shell outside of KV2, Its more reliable against AA but it still can do on the roof of lighter armored tanks

Unclear about the kv-1 pen it's front with panzer4 shell or the turret checky spot far from the manlet

You can kill kv1 from front using any tier one. I've killed so many.

I think in WTM tanks have thicker armor sense in WTM the t34 1940s armor is like 80mms thick in war thunder it’s only 45mms thick even from a angle it’s still easy too pentrate most early tanks in real WT have thinner armor then tanks in Wtm like the jagdtiger and most mid low tier tanks like same with early Sherman’s in Wtm they make them have like thick invincible armor in WT they only have 45-65mm thick

Yo katz i watched this vid and you can penetrate the kv2 from the front in the middle pannel and theres a discreet hole and you shoot there to get the front crew and theres a space on the turret too

Unless you are going up against a bot named playert56ct or all Chinese characters. They have magic shells that can knock out your jag or T95 from the front in one shot 😅 if you are new at this game you then you need to know this game uses bot when therr isn't enough real people to play. Bot generally are easy to kill but they are super accurate. This is how they can knock you out from 400 m away behind smoke even 😅
