In this video I open my advent calendar drawer, from crochet society. I also take you up stairs to show you the christmas tree skirt I made. I will link the video below, where I first talked about the pattern and the yarn I used to make the tree skirt.
I also finished all the hats for my 2nd gradres, and I am trying to catch up on the crochet society Advent CAL!

I totally know what you mean! I need to get my husband XL tall clothes. They can be hard to find. The expense is awful. I love the tree skirt and bears. Summer, sweetheart, you are doing great. You can't do everything. I love visiting with you.

Hi Summer! I was challenged by a friend, when we visited a craft show in her town, to make scrubbies. She told me she loves them for doing dishes. Sooo, I purchased the Yarn Bee Scrub-ology Scrub it yarn from Hobby Lobby. Found a really easy pattern by Glenda at Creative Grandma - and walaa - made multiple scrubbies. Easier to make than I thought. I'm making a matching wash cloth, adding them to a cute Christmas bucket with a small Dawn dish soap, too. I like to make something for my adult children just like you with your husband's family. By the way, the friend who challenged me, she will have one in her Christmas card! 😊😊🎄🎄

I had to laugh about you not being able to find shirts big enough for your husband. My husband is 5'6' and fat. We have been married 52 years. I don't remember him buying long sleeve dress shirts. The 3Xs when we find them are too long. He has bought some long sleeve flannel shirts at Wall Mart lately. Yes, they are on the long side. He rolls up the sleeves at least four or five times. Hard to buy clothes for short fat guys!
