I'll Stand By You unrehersed piano cover

As the days were closing in on my birthday, I found myself thinking about how great it would be to have someone I could always count on to stand by me...to walk through life with me...never desert me That reminded me of this Pretenders song, where Chrissie Hynde promised to do just that. I have to admit that the character trait of faithfulness feels more relevant and precious to me now, than it did back in the day, when I first heard the song.

Anyway, I was inspired to try to play it, and now, as rough as it may be, I'm publishing up my first attempt so that you can join me in "the journey", if you want to.

Nice inversions. Chord transitions. A lot of people dream of someday being able to play this fluidly. You vamp the chords with good rhythm and appropriate dynamics. I think you're doing great.
