First 3 seasons had versatile villains, some of which even looked a bit scary - for a daytime family show at least. Then ever since late 4th show it's just enemies looking identical to humans throwing energy/fire balls or lightnings, occasionaly with an odd tattoo, scar or Halloween costume (the titans namely).
The "hierarchy" also sucked. In the first 3 seasons there were entities beyond triad>source>upper level demons>lower level demons.
You had those mysterious entities like tge soul collecting lady, Egyptian urn guard, the chinese psychopomp diety, Tuata witch etc.
Result? Show became a soap opera with formulaic episodes when it comes to action and supernatural.
