Should I work with a recruiter to find a job? This is a question all candidates should think about if they already haven't. In this video, I will explain the difference between an internal corporate recruiter and a headhunter or 3rd party external recruiter. There are benefits to working with both and I will explain why.

I've had over 30 interviews through headhunters, not one job offer, no follow ups, no feedback. Also, some of these folks are downright scammers and one of them took $300 from my debit card triggering fraud alert. This "extra weapon" in my arsenal has literally wasted my time on the order of months in my job search. I have agreed to be rep'd by a recruiter for a job many times only to have my inbox spammed later that day or the next day by 3-10 OTHER recruitment firms trying to fill the same position. These people are all just leeches, if they got you a job it just means that you could have easily done it yourself.
