🪕 [4K HDR] A Night In Ishigaki, Okinawa | Traditional Music Show With Shamisen

Tonight, I take you to Okinawa and we are going to spend an awesome night together!

We are in a popular restaurant in Ishigaki island and we are going to watch a super cute show. As you may know, one of the most famous music instrument in Japan is the shamisen. It's a sort of guitar with 3 cords but in Okinawa, the shamisen is a bit different and it's actually called sanshin here.

During our dinner, 2 musicians arrived at the restaurant and they started to play traditional Ryukyu songs with a sanshin and a drum. The atmosphere was so great and this night is actually one of my best memory from Okinawa.

We were also asked to participate to the show by clapping using small pieces of wood.

In addition to the music, the restaurant's staff performed traditional Ryukyu dance during the show.
