Light showers will continue through the late morning with a cloudy afternoon in store. We'll keep a chance for a light shower mainly in SW Washington and for the north coast today. Highs today more mild thanks to warm south winds. We'll see highs in the low 50s. Round two of heavier rain moves in late tonight through early Friday morning. We'll likely see a soggy start to Friday morning.

We'll stay breezy today with wind gusts around 15 to 30 mph through tonight in the valley. Stormy conditions remain out at the coast with high wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph and high surf issues through tomorrow.

Expect a brief lull in the rain by Friday evening to early Saturday morning before a more impactful system brings heavy rain and mountain snow through early next week. We may be counting our mountain snow in feet by Monday.
