I've just had my turps op at the royal hospital liverpool England

My husband has had 3 TURP procedures, the first in 2017, the second in late 2018 and this past one in Sept 2020. He's an active "younger" patient. He's two weeks post surgery and everything was going great (peeing extremely well, no issues whatsoever) and today he suddenly couldn't pee. He drank more water and finally peed by himself after 4 hours. It has now happened for a second time today and he's on hour 5 of not peeing. He has limited liquids due to this and we are assuming he's going to have to have another catheter tonight in the ER. We have a call into his doctor, who is on call. Coincidentally this morning we saw this doctor and told him everything was great, he was tested for infection (standard procedure) and had none. We walked out of the office at 9am feeling great. Just hours later my husband cannot go. My heart is breaking for him. He is normally so healthy past these TURPs, lifts weights, jogs miles and miles a day, job, etc. I just don't know what to do.

One thing they dont tell you...when the protate is removed it takes that section of the urethra ...its then joined. That lengh drags the penis shorter😫
