There used to be an almond tree in the back garden of a house we used to own in Australia, it was awesome to say the least. However the white cockatoo birds used to enjoy eating them at daybreak when they were just about ready for picking. They would make a raucous noise and leave a huge mess everywhere. Funniest thing was my two dogs getting covered in debris whilst they were barking at the birds. The dogs enjoyed the almonds too. Did I ever tell you the story about the same dogs getting drunk on fermented mulberries?.
