You said in the video something about being FAA compliant, regarding dusk/dawn flying. Does this tiny device satisfy FAR 103 ultralight strobe requirements? Also, in then comments below there is mention of red and green color options. Are these also blinking strobes? Conventional directional lights are constant, not blinking. Also somewhat obnoxious: older drones often have lots of light, but not standard lighting. It might be red, or green, or blue, but what does it mean? What is the standard lightiung for the Mavic Air? I did see something at the rear of the machine when you turned it on.

hey Jake, Thanks for this video, went out and bought one, while flying north of Fairbanks, it helps even in daylight to keep an eye on my drone. Can't wait for later this summer to try it when it's not so light. love the videos, and thanks for sharing.

All I can say is, "Part 107 Operating Rules - Keep the unmanned aircraft within visual line-of-sight". Can't see it, shouldn't need to fly it that far.

Jake, I've ordered the cree strobe from firehouse. Please can you let me know - will the flash of the strobe be picked up by the camera while filming?

I'm constantly losing my Mavic Air against backdrop of trees this looks like it'll help. Did you notice the flash showing up in the video from the drone?

Much like you ... I love my Mavic Air. My P4P, I expect, will only be used when it’s better camera is absolutely needed. At first, I thought battery life and flight time would be an issue with the Mavic Air. Given that video is captured in short “clips or takes”, having 4 batteries in my Fly More bag works fine. Using Epson BT-300’s helps, but the smaller drone still gets lost in the sky. That brings up another situation when the P4P will be needed ... when VLOS needs to cover a longer distance. That being said ... I love my Mavic Air.

can you do any sport related 120 fps video with some close ups? jogging would do the trick already, i just wanna know how sharp the image is, if you can for example see the brand on the shoes in the slow mo or if it is all blury, cool video here tho!

Interesting....certainly something to consider. I actually bought the 'Red' Mavic Air in part because i knew the WHITE would be hard to see (i own a white DJI Spark) and BLACK could have similar issues. I primarily bought the red one to keep birds from attacking it. Yep, it happens. And I have a ton of Red Tail Hawks around my area...LOL Thanks for the video.
