Hydraulic homemade tractor drive

I'll try to answer some questions. Motor is mil-spec air cooled 4 cylinder, model 4a084. One diff runs backwards. hydro pumps are plumbed in common, so theoretically there could be wheel spin, but I haven't seen much. Steering pivot is right in the middle. I've since added a Volkswagen carb that has accelerator pump, that really helped low end torque. I added a snowplow using a simple light duty winch to raise and lower. I'm working on a video of still photos with voice over to describe the build.

this is an awesome vehicle for a a normal ATV won't get the job done neither will a normal mini 4x4 tractor would be out of question.
Please list the draw bar out power at draw bar!?), and other configurations....Engine, hyd motor, etc!?

Have you considered putting a pressure compensated flow control valve inline between your pump and valve? That would allow you variable speed without the expense of a variable displacement pump or motors. just food for thought.

What is the GPM on your pump/ motor, reservoir size?

I used junkyard rear differentials from Subaru Outbacks. I made adapters to bolt fixed displacement hydraulic motors on to the ends of these. I got motors from Surplus Center. I plumbed both motors together, so wheel spin is still possible, hasn't been a problem yet. I have loose sand, works OK even on hills.
