It's really interesting to see the backend of how Tears of the Kingdom was made

Hey! That cave was actually found by Koreththemangamer on twitch 🙂

Totk being the game where caves are a big aspect of exploration youd think theyd just put something in the cave instead of blocking it off, seems like wasted potential

Ironically, when they added caves to TotK, they saw the cave already in place in BotW but chose to close it off instead of make use of it.

The whistle animation to simulate opening the curtains was beautiful

I love hidden rooms like these that actually have models or collision in them. Makes you wonder if anything was ever planned to be in there. Kinda reminds me of that one level with the book in I think Nokie Bay in Mario Sunshine

i remeber coming across that cave in botw back in 2017 and just thought it was weird and maybe something would bring me back to it then i just completely forgot about it

Damn. That would have made a great little rathole/hermit hutch. Drop some flooring, chuck a door and window in place. Instant base.

That's were I take my favorite horse in botw, Kort. I was sad to see that they removed our hideout in totk

I was so disappointed when I tried to get into the upper part of the tower of the castle. In Breath of the Wild, this must have been a room for a chest or something, but it's really strange why it goes unused. So it's even more surprising that it not only got unused in Tears of the Kingdom again but Nintendo even made it impossible to ascend there. The cave is also a complete mystery too.

Reminds me of that one hole in Zoras domain in ocarina of time that led nowhere 😢

I remember finding that cave in botw and being 100% convinced that it was tied to a korok seed, especially when I was down to my last one and couldn't find it lol

I remember picking up the coordinates of the closed entrance and the closest point to the latter inside the Gerudo Secret Club and seeing they didn’t correspond lmao

In tears of the kingdom, there’s a hidden location right below minerus Secret Stone, it’s only accessed through an accidental glitch in the game, but when you go through the floor, you’ll be met with a slate that tells the true history of hyrule and proves that it’s in a fourth timeline even though it’s not technically supposed to be part of the timeline it was just something the developers put in and made it un accessible

I think they wanted to use the last one for seeds but forgot about it later.
