I rescued a German Shepherd 9 months ago. I saw her owner dump her on our highway. She had been terribly abused with neurological issues from being struck and also had internal bleeding. She was so traumatized that it took her 2 months to wag her tail. She was scared to death of me and of water so I couldn’t bathe the caked on mud all over her. It took months to slowly introduce water to her feet and belly. The only play she knows is chasing my other dogs. She’s so attached to me now and her home I could never rehome her. She’s the sweetest girl ever! I’m so glad the Lord chose me to give her a second chance.💕

I will never understand why people are so cruel to their animals or to any animal. I could NEVER mistreat my dogs, NEVER. My dogs are family - they will do anything for me. ANYTHING. My 2 late dogs slept with me and my husband in our bed. They were our children. Now that we have a daughter, we adopted a senior dog, and she is absolutely wonderful with our daughter. And she is in her forever home - we will never get rid of her. Even though we will have her for a short time, she is our girl, our family. We love all our dogs.

People who throw or abandon their animals are disgusting! I praise and thank God for many things but mostly for gifting our world with good people, who actually serve God by caring for his creation.
