A test of semi-autonomous mining drone using AI blocks.
Mining ship has:
-AI Flight block
-2 AI Recorder blocks
-2 Event controllers

Mining procedure:
Mining place is based on the location of the rover. Dig the drone into the ground a bit, select rover beacon as reference, start waypoint recording. Move the drone forward then backward. Stop recording. Set up Waypoints to Repeat.
Set up Event controller 1:
Cargo filled % greater or equal = (chosen number)
Action: Docking AI Recorder - Play

Docking procedure:
Fly the drone above connector. Add waypoint manually. Fly the drone until connectors are touching. Add waypoint. Select Waypoint 1, Setup action:
Ship Connector Switch Lock. No repeat.
Ship Connector: Set automatic unlock after 5-10s
Set up Event controller 2:
Cargo filled % less or equal = 5%
Action: Mining AI Recorder - Play

Turn on AI Flight block AI Behavior and set up speed limit to 2-5m/s. Go to Mining AI Recorder, press Play.

Sometimes Event Controllers fail to detect their condition being met right away, but they will do that eventually. Make sure the drone has balanced thrust from every sides and has at least one drill in the front. Check up the condition of blocks from time to time as drone likes to bump the voxels.

this is yet the only video i found about mining drones using IA blocks. I will use this as a guide for my mining ships, thanks for uploading this :)

So, I think you are tying the location of your truck to where you wish to mine? Maybe drill a "test" hole and drop a beacon then mine to it?
