What Is Victoria?
Victoria 3 is a new grand strategy game from Paradox Interactive. A simulation of 100 years, starting in 1836. Choose any nation and guide it through a tumultuous and transformative century. Your political, economic and diplomatic decisions will let you change the fate of millions, as you shape your society and claim your place in the sun.

In Victoria 3, you meet the people of the age in our Pops system. High and low, across cultures and lands - we create a representation of the global population in 1836. Pops have needs, desires and form powerful groups for you to handle. These groups are the foundation of a realistic and dynamic society simulator.

Never before have the lives of so many changed so much, so quickly. Turn the shouts of upheaval echoing in the streets into government reform. The muscle of industry is powered by the sinews of trade. Import necessary goods to keep your people happy and fuel the factories that will produce valuable items for export. Harness the power of steam and coal to transform factory towns into industrial titans.

Rather than paint the map of the world, you write the book of your nation. But you are an actor on a global stage, racing other nations up the mountain of prestige. In Victoria 3, anything achievable by war, can also be done by diplomacy. Use pacts, alliances, threats and bluffs to claim your place in the sun.

The changes in the world are represented in our new dynamic map. New production methods and amenities create a mass-migration into cities, as new industries darken the skies but brighten the future. Every decision matters and over time, the progress or problems will be carved into the earth.

Just abandon the Game for now it has potential but now it's in a horrible state i would recommend waiting a little cause you and your fans are gonna get fustrated if you cant finish a Game so yeah i like the content you make but i think that option now it's to move to other games until the do some Major updates. Keep the great work man

Je was geweldig aan het spelen, maar helaas zijn er nog genoeg bugs te vinden. Je was de eerste persoon die Victoria goed kon uitleggen. Ben net deze game aan het leren.

I found that specs are not really the problem it runs on my laptop fine... But 1.03 crashed constantly. 1.04 seems to have fixed it. But I dunno, I am guessing that every patch it will just ruin someone's ability to play the game 😏

Victoria 3 is a game of industry and commerce with politics and the occasional war. There is no need for every game to have 3D models. While it may be fun to see clouds drifting by, and to zoom in to see the occasional train move, it doesn't add to game play, but is an unnecessary thing to slow things down. I hope that optimize it in a future patch. It would be wonderful if they could take advantage of multiple cores, but that is unlikely. I would say you gave it a heroic effort, and see what a future patch, and what they say about it on the forums.

I just got the same problem with my brazil game, I wasn't even using mods.

Play as Germany in hoi4 and try to restore the German kaiser and the monarchy or play as the Netherlands in kaiserreich and try to remain a monarchy and join the German alliance and help them in the war

It might be because of an update or a broken/removed mod, as the save file indicates. It might work again if you go to a previous version of the game. If I am correct, just like in HOI4, you can go to a previous version of the game via Steam. But if it's a mod that's broken or removed, there is nothing you can do to make the game run again.

tbh this is why i don't use mods that often with these games, but i understand your frustration. i have had no problems, other than slight hiccup from 1.0.4 and the trade center infrastructure usage increase, for which i built a LOT of infrastructure, and then 1.0.5 reducing their need by 10x leaving me with a huge excess and messing with my economy, but I just went with the punches. Still been having a lot of fun, it's not a bad game.
