Switzerland is my fav been there many times and love the Country… a bit pricey but the juice is worth the squeeze

Lugano is probably the best bet. A bit warmer in winter time, and only one hour away from milan, which not only has 1.4 mil population (if it was in usa, it would make top 10), but also milan has 3 airports, and is considered a big hub, so travelling is great. Zurich is 2 and half hours away, and also is top 20 in the world by direct flights.

Dad born in Ireland so I am citizen. Agreed, Ireland is a great choice if I didn't have family obligations in the states I would move there in a heart beat.

“Anti-wealth” is one hell of a way of phrasing “Pro- not letting the poor, disabled, old, etc starve and freeze to death on the streets by redistributing wealth from people fully capable of living comfortable lives to those less fortunate”.

I love Swiss however try not to get into road car accident even if it's not your fault. You will be fined for an arm and a leg!
