If you wear sunscreen (which you should) don't wet the sponge. Using a wet sponge on top of sunscreen can dilute it. If you want to wet the sponge wear waterproof or water resistant sunscreen.

Wow I literally always wet the sponge as I found that dry wouldn't set my concealer.. Did not realise ter was a reason behind it.. Thanks 😊

This was actually very helpful. Im not new to makeup whatsoever but i never got the hang of a blender aka i tried it 2 or 3 times and it looked patchy so i blamed my skin and switched to a brush & kept it pushin lol) im definitely gonna try again w this info 4 sure. Ty!!

Yeah first problem is don’t have Problamatic skin like I do no matter what I do foundation always looks patchy on me

Do we put the foundation on the blender or on our face and then blend with the beauty blender ?

Doesn't the sponge waste a lot of your foundation though as compared to applying with your fingers and then going over it to blend the foundation with the sponge? Don't know where I've heard this.
