Been checking Youtube for some Cisco reviews, and came to this channel and I subscribed. Very good on the explanations, although medyo nabitin kasi putol, or do I have to pay to access more explanations? hehehe. Adding more to what ms Elen pointed out is the default queuing mechanism for routers is called "tail-drop" and it's applied to both the ingress/egress side on the router interface. Kapag puno na yung queue for the ingress/egress side of the interface, next packets coming in would be dropped (tail-drop). That's why we apply QoS to prevent this lalo na kung affected yung mga maliliit and delay-sensitive applications like VoIP, IP-based videos, etc. Dun na papasok yung QoS through traffic classification (UDP ba or TCP, or learning the application itself using NBAR), marking (DSCP or IP-precedence, MPLS-experimental naman if MPLS-based), traffic conditioning, policing or shaping, congestion avoidance (RED or WRED), queuing and scheduling, etc. QoS should classify traffic based on the following classifications: real-time or high priority (we put in VoIP and video here, or any other apps that we consider as delay-sensitive), mission-critical (voice-signalling, SAP or some database traffic), and best effort (internet traffic and others deemed not critical).

Or talagang pang-Network Engineer/IT Professional lang po talaga yung CCNA certification?
