The Winner of the Alex's Caves: Biome Vote is...

Forlorn Hollows!

The Forlorn Hollows will be the fifth biome added to Alex's Caves, and the final one before its release. Encounter gigantic warped bats and cultist molemen in a creepy underground canyon.

It was a close race between Forlorn Hollows, Galactic Caverns, and Flesh Pit, but Forlorn won with just under 500 additional votes.

I'm so upset that the microbe cove or whatever it was called didn't win. I loved the idea of a cave entirely populated by colossal "micro"organisms.

I really liked, Paranormal pit, but i expected Galactic Caverns to win, due to it not only being interesting, but also at the top of the list.

I think that after the forlorn hollows and the mod is released, the galactic caverns should be next in line as it was the runner up and all around just had a great concept!

I voted for flesh pit, sad that it didnt get to the finals, but this looks very interesting too. Waiting forward to seeing it in the mod!

I am SO glad that the other biomes will be added, really wanted the microbe but I'm sure whatever you make alex will be killer. This will be a must have mod for me now!

Though I'm sad that the Galaxy Cavern lost, I'm still pretty excited about the Giant Bat and the Crazy mole people. I just hope that some point there could be anouther pole.

I like how Alex handled a biome vote. "The other boimes *will* return in future updates". Straight to the point. Noone's offended, noone's unhappy.
It's not Mojang's: "winner will be added, losers will be cast to the shadow realm" - followed by: "oh no, we absolutely will add losers later, you just misunderstood our words, and we defenetly aren't doing it because the whole community was set on fire".

I feel like this is a better way to do Minecraft votes than how Mojang is handling it. The people can pick what the they think the developer should focus on first, but we're also reassured that the rest aren't just gone, and will most likely return in the future, and not just in a spin-off game

I went for the Forlorn Hollows from the very start, the idea of an ominous desert biome filled with creepy creatures seems very cool and I'd like to see your take in how you tackle it

great oak looked really cool with the rotting tree vibe, like hollow bough from deep rock galactic
hopefully a lot of the concept biomes get added as future updates

Cenote of Souls, Microve, Flesh Pit and Great Oak were really good Ideas too. I just like Cenote of Souls because I celebrate the day of the dead as it is part of my regions culture, Microve because we already have endergrades and enderiophages, Flesh Pit is just cool af and Great Grove? Spooder, if spooder comes back (likely won't), make it tameable, people actually have Jumping Spider pets, I myself am one.
